Usage

In isiZulu, the concept that may be expressed with a position II singular demonstrative for people or objects that are close, and with a position III singular demonstrative for people or objects that are far. The full list is shown in Table 7 of the mini-grammar, columns "DEM II" and "DEM III". These forms may be preceded by various morphemes. As a conjunction, 'ukuthi' is the most frequent word in isiZulu.
