Dumisani Walter Nxumalo was born in South Africa in the Province of KwaZulu Natal on the 26th of August 1956. I have been a Secondary School Teacher for 26 years and later promoted to be a Subject Advisor for IsiZulu in the Department of Education for eight years. Currently I’m a Teaching Practice Supervisor at the University of South Afrika.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree obtained from University of South Afrika (UNISA). In 2003 I obtained Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in IsiZulu at the University of Natal. I’m IsiZulu specialist and author of IsiZulu poetry books. I was a chairperson of National Screening Committee for IsiZulu CAPS Learners Books for grade 4 – 6 (Intermediate Phase) when CAPS was introduced in South Africa.

My name is Zotha Zungu born and raised in Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, South Africa. I am currently doing my Masters studies in International Development at the University of Florida in the United States of America. I am also an Isizulu language instructor at the university, teaching beginner and intermediate Isizulu. Prior to my studies I worked for a considerable number of years in local government in Durban.
